MINESTONE REFUGE CHAMBERS
In accordance with Article 30 of the law no.6331 dated 20/06/2012, mining shelters shall be required for underground metal mines within the scope of Law no. 6331. In the mine refuge rooms, the persons in the mine are provided with breathable air for at least 36 hours. This shelter will go into operation at the date 01/07/2018.
It has 5psi explosion resistance, air conditioning, Air cleaning, moisture removal, lighting, warning lights, communication, systems such as gas monitoring systems and so on. in these rooms with systems, the minimum and maximum gas values in the room are at least 19% for O2, 35 ppm for co and 0.5% for CO2. It is ensured that the temperature in the asylum room does not exceed 35 OC.
